Clean Water in Mauritania

The whole story

Water rights have recently changed in this region. Water that used to be free now has to be bought, and the families we spent time with are being pressured to pay for something they've always had.

What they get isn't safe. The wells are dug by hand. At school, students drink from jerry cans. None of the water is filtered.

Funds donated to this project go directly to water access and cleanliness for this community.

How 100% is possible

Getting your gift to a community in Mauritania costs something. There are payment processing fees, the trip to the project, and filming the results so you can see them.

Those costs are covered by other Kind Strangers, who give specifically to keep Kind Stranger running. Their kindness means all of yours reaches the project.
